Is it normal for my child to walk with his feet turned inwards or to fall down frequently?
When should children have their first foot check-up?
What kind of shoes should I buy?
At Salamanca Podiatry Clinic we are pleased to care for children of all ages.
By the age of three or four, a podiatric check-up is recommended to evaluate the child’s foot, its development, its growth and the way he walks. A child’s gait will affect its psychomotor development and its sport performance.
The younger a child is assessed and diagnosed, the better results we get.
Some of the most frequent reasons for consultation among children include:
Valgus feet
In-toeing (pigeon toed)
Heel Pain
Walking on tip-toes
